Baby & Nursery Safe Home EMF Assessment
Is your home biology conducive to having and raising healthy children?
The Adventure Begins
Pregnancy and parenthood are wonderful adventures! They are also times to be cautious, as studies point to serious concerns regarding fetal (in-utero) and early childhood exposures to EMFs.
There are a variety of steps every family can take to create a healthier home during this important time of preparation.
Babies & Children
We are only recently beginning to understand the effects that nnEMFs may have, for example, on cellular functioning and fragile DNA of babies and children. Published medical research shows ↓ EMF during pregnancy is linked to ↓ risk for:
– Childhood Obesity
– Childhood Asthma
– Hyperactivity & Behavioral Problems
– Neurodevelopment Issues
Plan for Family Success
Much like selecting the safest crib, stroller, or baby foods – surveying homes for unwanted EMF exposures is more important now than ever before.
Enjoy peace of mind by having your home or condo inspected for stray electric fields, magnetic fields, dirty electricity, stray current, microwave radiation, and light quality by an objective specialists.
“When a baby is developing, there are a hundred billion nerve cells in the body, all bridging connections, even in the first few months of pregnancy. Disruption of those earliest signals can have serious implications for later life.”
– Dr. Leo Trasande, Associate Professor, Department of Pediatrics, NYU School of Medicine
Although It Is Invisible…
Unlike alcohol, tobacco or drug use, various types of EMF pollution are invisible yet in 99% of homes and can affect pregnancy outcomes. This is why parents are being advised to protect infants and children from non-ionizing radiation.
The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends that the US Government tighten wireless exposure limits and that the public reduce children’s exposure to devices that invisibly spill out radiation.
AC Magnetic Fields During Pregnancy
Maternal exposure to low levels of AC magnetic fields during pregnancy has been associated with an increased risk for miscarriage plus increased chances for childhood asthma and obesity. During early childhood, the risk for leukemia is also a concern for many parents.
“The message here is exposure to electromagnetic fields is not good, and we need to pay attention to its adverse effect on health,” says researcher De-Kun Li, MD, PhD, a reproductive and perinatal epidemiologist at the Kaiser Permanente Division of Research in Oakland, Calif.
Our hunt for AC/MF begins with a home’s proximity to power lines and transformers. Then we look for evidence of wiring errors, cable current, and pipe current, and we measure large and small appliances for stray magnetic fields.
